Classes and Meditation Session Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least a 24-hour notice.
Our Policy: Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours will result in the cost of service being the fee for the cancellation. In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services.
Retreat Cancellation Policy
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
The cancellation policy below is designed to protect both Open Lotus Meditation and all retreat attendees (prospective and current).
Cancellation | Initiated by Participant
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in the retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions.
We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances, but we have incurred expenses that once paid we cannot refund. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance if you have concerns.
Cancellation Policy
Before 30 days you can request receive a partial refund, less $100 non-refundable deposit.
ONLY if we are able to reassign your room to another participant will you be eligible to receive a refund for remaining amount paid after $100 deposit was paid.
Before 45 days of the retreat date, you will receive a 80% refund.
Before 30 days of the retreat date, you will receive a 50% refund.
After 30 days from the date of the retreat, there will be no refunds.
Cancellation | Initiated by Open Lotus Meditation
While we have never cancelled a retreat to date, if Open Lotus Meditation must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payment, constituting a full settlement.
Open Lotus Meditation is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip. Again, if you have any concerns please purchase travel insurance.
